SMTP Credentials – SMPT console for your E-mail region
For Australia, we use Oregon as the SMTP relay service.
We won’t go into all details of why or why not configure and use SMTP, but for now we will do it.
As with the IAM user lesson, when we create the credentials, never lose them, and view them under the IAM user menu in the same way.
If you ever find the SMTP relay stops working at some far point in the future, you either did something to knock it out, (likely) or the credentials no longer work. Simply create new credentials and update those places where you specifically used the keys. We only have one set of SMTP credentials. Any new ones will stop the old ones working.
